During the summer months, Silver Creek Plunge is a great hot springs to visit. It is located inside Peace Valley and the Boise National Forest which is several miles past Crouch, Idaho, where the dirt road ends and the swimming fun begins.
Instructions
1. Choose a campsite. Campsites are non-reservable and are on a first-come, first-served basis. The season rates are as follows:$12.50/night Per tent, trailer or RVPermanent Camper - $250.00/monthUnlimited use Firewood - $6. 00 per bundlePropane refills - $3.50 per gallon
2. Check-in at the convenience store and pay the entrance fees which are: Adults - $8, Children under 12 years of age - $6Seniors (age 60+) - $6 and babies under age 2 are free (required to wear plastic pants for everyone's safety). This pass is good for all day and throughout the evening. Evening swims are from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
3. Depending on whether you are staying overnight or just visiting for the day, they will issue you a number for a camping spot. Find the camping spot and set up your camp equipment. The clean mountain air and wonderful atmosphere make a person feel right at home.
4. Get dressed in your bathing suit. Take a towel and enjoy a plunge. They offer a large geothermal outdoor pool and access to other sports including basketball, fishing, hiking, horseshoes and volleyball.
