Colleges That Specialize In Civil Engineering

Civil engineering is the profession that involves the design, creation, and maintenance of buildings, roads, and other man-made constructions. In the 1800s, professional civil engineering organizations were formed in the U.S. and England, and colleges started civil engineering programs, with the first program formed at Norwich University in 1819. The "U.S. News and World Report" publishes an annual list of college programs, including civil engineering programs.
