Environmental health courses cover the geology of the environment. A course in environmental geology covers the relationship of humans to the environment. The impact of removing natural resources and consequences of that removal are topics in this course. It also covers natural environmental hazards such as volcanoes, floods, impacts of asteroids and earthquakes. Geology is the study of the elements that make up the earth and this course covers these elements as well as the effect humans have on these elements.
