ArcView 3.x is a mapping software package used for construction and surveying. If you would like to change the software that you are using, or you are cleaning up your system, you need to uninstall the ArcView 3.x software from your computer. You can use the Windows Uninstaller to get rid of the software. The Windows Uninstaller comes with all versions of Windows and will clear the software, drivers, and registry keys from your computer system.
Instructions
1. Click the "Start" button and then click on the "Control Panel" option from the "Programs" icon.
2. Click on the "Programs and Features" option in the "Control Panel" menu.
3. Click on the "ArcView 3.x" icon from the menu that appears.
4. Click on the "Uninstall" button on the right side of the window. Wait for the program to uninstall. This should take about 15 to 20 seconds to complete.
5. Click the "OK" button when the menu appears telling you the software has been uninstalled from your system.
