Small Pennsylvania Colleges
In addition to its large public universities, like Penn State and the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is home to a number of small colleges, some of which have undergraduate enrollments of fewer than 1,500 students. Consisting of both religious and nonsectarian institutions, these small colleges feature small class sizes and grant both undergraduate and graduate-level degrees. Some of Pennsylvania's small colleges are also among the top-rated schools in the region within their areas of specialty.
