Go To A Theme Park

If you want to go to a Theme Park and you live in or are visiting the upper Midwest, Little Amerricka (America) Theme Park may a great day trip. This article will discuss Little Amerricka as our theme park, located in Wisconsin.


Traveling to a theme park is taking a vacation close to home. This theme park destination is large enough to satisfy older kids while offering the younger crowd rides and attractions that fit them well. You will find Little Amerricka in the middle of a few farms on 700 E. Main Street in Marshall, Wisconsin. Little Amerricka is proudly owned and operated by many generations of family. Little Amerricka staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.


All of the prices for attractions are served up menu style. Money invested for a day of entertainment to go to Little Amerricka is affordable for most families.


Instructions


1. Grab a calendar, and decide when you want to go. Little Amerricka Theme Park is generally open during the Summer months. You can go to Little Amerricka on weekends as they have sporadic operation through the end of October. You may wish to print out directions, program your GPS unit or a cell phone. To find Little Amerricka, it is a good idea to locate a map ahead of time, as there are no signs off of the Interstate.


2. Purchase your Theme Park wristband when you arrive at Little Amerricka.


Or, if you are not going to ride, or opt for just a few rides, you can purchase ride tickets as you explore the park.


Little Amerricka does not charge admission or parking fees, unlike other parks. You can come along just as a spectator. Little Amerricka sports four different wristband options with yellow being the highest and including 25 rides and Pink for the younger children. You do not all have to purchase the same type of wristband. If you will not be mini golfing or riding go carts, a blue wristband for 23 rides will be adequate. A yellow wristband is a good idea to cover many age groups that go to Little Amerricka. All wristbands offer unlimited rides found in their color category.


3. Bring bottled water, snacks and food when you go to Little Amerricka. Coolers and bags are allowed on the premises. Or, food and beverages can be purchased at reasonable prices on premises. There are many places and picnic spots to dine, even right next to the rides. Or, you can store your food in a cooler in the car and walk back to the car get it, as the parking lot is just a few feet away.


4. Climb aboard the Whiskey River Railroad when you go to Little Amerricka on the weekends. This is a miniature replica of a steam engine that travels all around Little Amerricka. You will see zoo animals including zebras, cows, peacocks, donkeys and llamas. You will also travel under bridges and the woods and see the rides from a different perspective. You can purchase tickets separately for the railroad, or it is included with purchase of a wristband.


5. Ride the Monorail around Little Amerricka. You can fit up to four passengers per car. This takes a slow ride above Little Amerricka Theme park on a roller coaster track. Here you will see the park from a new perspective. This is suitable for many ages. This is a great place to start your visit as it is close to the park entrance.


6. Take the kids to the Little Amerricka childrens village located at the park entrance. Little Amerricka sports kiddie roller coasters, boat rides, bounce house adventures, trucks, convertibles or Ferris wheel rides. They also offer the Helicopter Rescue ride, inflatable slide and stand alone playground with picnic tables to help you relax and get children to release their energy.


7. Little Amerricka offers several roller coaster rides including Meteor, Mad Mouse and Tiger Slide to challenge you. Even fans of extreme sports will love these. Coasters are safe and suitable for children age 10 and up. Riders must meet the 48" requirement for their own safety, even if a parent does accompany them.


8. Get in a bumper car or boat ride with your favorite companion at Little Amerricka. Rides like these are well supervised and maintained by Little Amerricka staff, so smaller children can accompany you safely. The bumper cars are only allowed to drive in one direction and head on bumping is not allowed. On the bumper boats, you will get wet, but speed is kept to a minimum.


9. Take a ride on the swings or other classic carnival favorites when you go to Little America. These include the Tilt-A-Whirl, River Racers and the Scrambler. There is also a small, dark haunted house for you to explore. Do not forget the upside down hammer ride if you are up for this challenge.
