Specifications For The Jbl 15inch Eon Power Sub

The JBL EON 15 is a two-way passive speaker system with a 15-inch subwoofer. The EON is both portable and durable; it is lightweight and the enclosure has a die-cast aluminum baffle. JBL has designed the EON for use at clubs, parties, concerts and other live events. The EON has available wall mount and pole brackets.


Performance


The JBL 15-inch EON has a frequency range of 60 Hz to 18 kHz. The system has a frequency response of 80 Hz to 16 KHz. The enclosure alignment is sixth order. The long term continuous sound pressure level, or SPL, is 120 dB. The long term peak SPL is 127 dB.


Input


The EON 15-inch loudspeaker has two four-pin Neutrik Speakon connectors; one input and one loop through output. The sensitivity is 100 dB SPL. The nominal impedance is eight ohms. The power handling of the unit is 250 watts.


Protection and LF Transducer


The JBL EON 15 employs HF transducer protection with a crossover network that includes a integral HF protection circuit. The LF transducer is 380 millimeters (mm) in diameter and has a power handling of 250 watts.


HF Driver and Horn


The JBL 15-inch EON's horn has a diaphragm diameter of 44 mm. It has a power handling of 50 watts. The dispersion angle is 90 degrees by 60 degrees.


General


The baffle is die-cast aluminum. The enclosure is made from UL 94HB Polypropylene. The dimensions are 27 inches high, 17 inches wide and 17.5 inches deep. The internal volume of the unit is 1.8 cubic feet or 51 liters. The EON 15 system weighs 42 pounds.
