Ashworth College


Ashworth College offers more than 75 programs, including gunsmithing. Ashworth is an accredited member of the Distance Education and Training Council and as such, is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Gunsmithing students learn to clean and service, repair and recondition pistols, rifles and shotguns.

Foley-Belsaw Institute


Foley-Belsaw Institute is certified by the State of Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education and has been in operation since 1926. Foley-Belsaw offers a gunsmithing program that can be completed in a few weeks. The institute says all of its correspondent material is fully illustrated with graphics and photos that "make mastering the art of gunsmithing a simple and fun process." Students receive all necessary tools and materials to start a gunsmith shop.
