Recommended Tires For A Toyota Corolla

The tread is asymmetrical and directional molded from a rubber compound designed to maintain its traction characteristics as the tire wears. The tire provides excellent dry and wet traction, but should not be driven in snowy or freezing conditions. The Pilot Exalto PE2 has steel and nylon belts on a rayon belted body.


Yokohama AVS S1


Priced at well over $200, the Yokohama AVS S1 is for the driver looking for the maximum performance from his Toyota Corolla. The AVS S1 is a Z-rated tire capable of handling speeds up 149 mph. The asymmetrical tread design allows race car like handling. The soft, traction oriented rubber compound gives this tire the lowest wear rating of any tire listed here. The tire meets Porsche original equipment tire specifications.
