Adt Dsc Impassa Programming For Dsc Ws4939 Keyfob Remote

I have an ADT DSC Impassa keypad and want to add an extra DSC WS4939 keyfob remote to the system. Does anyone know program the Impassa? Thanks!

The impasse (SCW9057) programs just like the other DSC power series panels; it's a slightly simplified program map. The hardest part is finding the manual. They were never super popular models, so not many people archived the manual.

Are you talking about the user manual? I have it handy and can scan the pages. Just let me know what page is relevant to the keyfob remote programming. Thanks!

No, you need the installation manual. If you had one, I could avoid re-typing the instructions (DSC locks their manuals so you can't cut and paste from the PDF)
The process for quick enrolling a wireless key:
*8 [installer code] 898
Wireless Enrollment Mode will display
on the wireless keyfob press any button for about 3 sec
The serial number should display press * to accept
It will display the next available slot number. Press * to accept.
Press # until you exit programming.

How do I figure out the installer code because nothing happens when I press *8 and then 898?
*8 [installer code] 898

The default installer code is 5555. If it's been changed from the default, then you are stuck. There is no back door.

5555 is invalid. Looks like I'm SOL.

Pretty much the only other thing you could try would involve defaulting the control and having to program in all the transmitters from scratch. If the original installer used the installer lockout feature, then even that won't help.

Try using 6321 or 4321 as the installer code
If your system includes life safety devices it could also be the last 4 digits of your system number
