You love your Pfaltzgraff dishes, but you don't love the stains and fork marks you see on them. You've probably washed the dishes in a variety of different soaps and cleaners, which removed some of the stains and marks, but many remain. Good news: You don't need a special cleaner from Pfaltzgraff to get rid of them; a small amount of Barkeeper's Friend will remove the stains and marks in no time.
Instructions
1. Place 2 tbsp. Barkeeper's Friend in a small bowl. Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands.
2. Lay the Pfaltzgraff dish on a clean, flat surface.
3. Dip a clean cloth or towel into the bowl of Barkeeper's Friend and scoop out about 1/2 tsp. of the cleaner.
4. Apply the Barkeeper's Friend cleaner on the stain or mark you want to remove.
5. Let the cleaner set on the stain or mark for three minutes.
6. Scrub the stain or mark gently to remove it. Work slowly and do not use a lot of pressure to remove the stain or mark.
7. Repeat Steps 3 through 6 to remove other stains and marks from your Pfaltzgraff dish.
8. Wash the Pfaltzgraff dish in warm water using a mild dishwashing soap.
9. Dry the dish with a clean dry cloth or towel.
Tips Warnings
For everyday cleaning of your Pfaltzgraff dishes, add 1/2 cup chlorine bleach to your dishwashing water. The bleach will remove any coffee, tea and food stains.
