Everyone sweats but for those who have more intense sweating issues, it's important to reach the core of the problem to result in a more permanent solution. A person's first common reaction to sweat is to use deodorant or body sprays to cover up the sweating or any smell. However, it may be more efficient to create a better pallet for your skin to naturally produce less sweat in the first place, rather than just attempting to hide it.
Instructions
1. Eliminate bacterial-induced sweating. Some people's bodies react badly to bacteria, causing extreme sweat. Practice simple everyday tasks that will eliminate any bacteria from growing in your daily hygiene products. Refrain from gel deodorants at all costs. Bacteria is captured within the gel upon use and grows within your deodorant container. Roll-on deodorants also have a similar problem. Use solid deodorants instead. Immediately, after each use of your deodorant, wipe off the top with a clean tissue. In addition, it's best to stay away from bar soap while in the shower. Instead, use gel body soap, preferably ones that contain tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is one of the best all-natural bacteria fighters.
2. Neutralize your sweat pores with apple vinegar. Apple vinegar contains properties that will dry out your pores as well as kill lingering bacteria. Trim or shave your underarm hair for easier application. Start with clean underarms with no product. Apply a generous amount of apple vinegar to your underarms with a clean washcloth before you go to bed. Allow the vinegar to air dry. Go to sleep and allow the vinegar to penetrate and condition your pores throughout the night. Once you wake up, clean up as usual and apply deodorant. Continue this process nightly and results should be visible within a week.
3. Reduce sweat instantly with baking soda. Baking soda evaporates any moisture and allows the sweat to dry up very quickly. Mix baking soda and warm water together. Add small amounts of water at a time until your reach a pasty consistency. Apply the paste to your underarms and let it sit for 25 to 30 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and apply deodorant once your underarms are dry. It's best to do this every morning before applying deodorant for the first time.
4. Use clinical-strength deodorants. Clinical-strength deodorants should only be used as a last resort. It's best to use one containing high amounts of aluminum chloride. Aluminum chloride works especially well in accordance with the baking soda method.
5. Consider botox injections. It's important to weigh the health hazards that may occur with botox along with how much sweating is interfering with your life. It can be very expensive but it is known for how sufficiently it stops sweating. Unfortunately, it's not a permanent solution and in most cases it only lasts for about six months. Talk with your physician to see if this may be a solution for you.
