Stretch The Toe Of A Shoe

Stretch the Toe of a Shoe

Buying shoes that fit perfectly in the store but seem to be too tight when you get home is not an unusual problem. The solution is fairly simple. You can pay a shoe repairman to stretch the shoe or you can easily stretch the toe of the shoe yourself to give you more room for your toes and a more comfortable shoe. Shoe stretching solution and a wooden shoe stretcher can be bought at most shoe stores or online.

Instructions

1. Spray the stretching solution over the top of the toe of the shoe. Note: some stretching solutions recommend spraying the solution inside the shoe.

2. Insert the shoe stretcher into the toe portion of the shoe and twist it open until it is tight enough to apply pressure.

3. Let it sit overnight.

4. Repeat the process with the other shoe. Keep the shoe stretcher in the shoe until you are ready to put the shoes on.

5. Put the heavy socks on and wear the shoes for several hours. As you walk around, the shoes will maintain the added size from the shoe stretcher.

6. Wait at least one day before trying the shoe on with regular socks. If the shoes still need to be stretched some more, repeat the above process until you obtain a perfect fit.
